Approximately 500 cars & Opel Chevrolet Blazer from all over Indonesia, Saturday, October 23, 2010, gathered at the Museum Purna Bhakti Pertiwi Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta, in the framework of the 3rd great jamboree. Jamboree is to commemorate the ninth anniversary of BIC.
Marketing & PR Director of General Motors Indonesia Debora Amelia Santoso said that other Chevrolet clubs, such as the Chevy Captiva Club (CCC), Zafira Indonesia Community (ZIC), Chevrolet Optra Estate (CEO) Club, and Community Trooper Indonesia will also be attending this event .
"We will support this event as a form of our after-sales service," said Amelia.
Indonesian GM Chevy Care will open the service that will provide free vehicle check service, technical consultation, and discounts on spare parts. Participants also can test drive a new Chevrolet car at the show.
Agenda jamboree will also be filled with the Great Meeting of Members to select a chairman and board BIC period 2010-2012.
On the same occasion, the BIC will also raise money for flood victims in West Papua Wasior as a form of caring fellow nations. BIC currently has 1040 members spread across various cities in Indonesia.
